See your doctor if you have a history of the following and are trying to conceive
The following are circumstances that may contribute to difficult conception and may require early investigation. These include:
- the woman is over 35
- absent periods or irregular cycle
- history of endometriosis
- history of sexually transmitted infection
- history of pelvic inflammatory disease
- overweight or underweight
- the man has a history of groin or testicle injury
- history of drug or alcohol abuse
- history serious infection such as Hepatitis or HIV
- heart disease
- liver problems
- thyroid disease
- diabetes
- epilepsy
- multiple sclerosis
- mental illness
- asthma
